There is just something so romantic about vintage chandeliers, this one is in my bedroom centered in the middle of our bed towards the bottom, every night and every morning I get to see it as I am feeling sleepy or waking just as the light is peeking through the curtains. the light and shadows they cast, the sparkling crystals, I love everything about this one, especially since it came from a darling old home in a section of Sacramento called the fabulous 40's the numbered streets in that particular neighborhood have the most charming homes! Well my sister happened to live in one, and when I saw it for the first time I said "Shan if you ever move I want that chandelier" she did eventually end up moving to an equally charming older home in a fabulous vintage area of Sacramento and yes She kept her word and gave me the chandelier!I have adored it ever since......thought I would share with you!
I love your chandelier...so beautiful! I totally agree...there is nothing more romantic.

Beautiful piece! It looks like it was designed after the old candle chandelier, which had the wax drip ring. What a nice piece to have. I have been in several of the homes in the Fab 40's for different reasons including a few wonderful estate sales, they are very Fab!~Jacque

Not only is it beautiful, its from your sister... how wonderful to wake up every morning to something she gave you. Now do me a favor, call her and tell her you love her. My sister died in 1998 I miss her terriably sisterhood is untouchable. Happy easter and thank you so much for sharing.
