I have a funny little story to share with you! yesterday I was delivering one of my goody baskets to my friend the Life Coach she and I have known each other since she taught pre-school at our Church! My oldest son loved her and I did too! We have remained close all these years, my son Nicholas is 27.....back to the story, she loved it! she said it was glitterific, this has been a glittery year for me, it seems all my craft projects include it in some way, although most of things in her basket I didn't glitter myself they already came that way!
We exchanged gifts and hugs, and she by the way gave me a book on blogging and one of my favorite magazines for recipes Paula Dean sooooooooo, we were getting ready to go to lunch and she said you have glitter all over you, yes I regularly do, so does my husband, the guys at work think it's really funny, he is such a good sport about it, you know how glitter sticks to everything, you can't get it off no matter how hard you try!
I laughed, and told her that a few nights ago I had a party coming in to 41 Taylor the young gal hosting the party was dressed to the nines and waiting for her guests, she said to me.....you have some glitter on your face, I tried to brush it off my cheek where it usually lands and she said oh no it's right above your lip, I said oh, I go into our dimly lit bathroom at 41 Taylor and to my absolute horror,I had a GLITTER STASH, yes it's true a full blown glittery mustache, now really thats taking it too far! small bits of glitter delicately placed on ones face can look magical right? like make-up, like you intended it to be there....but a glitter stash oooooooh #%!# no !!!! as I continued to wipe off my stash it reminded me of what this last year has brought to my life......
A wonderful new business, where I can glitter to my hearts content, new friends, sparkly goodness, and yes to a degree a whole new life......Thats a big accomplishment for these small bottles of glitter, I wonder if Martha agrees!
Hope you are finding time to put a little glitter in your life!
