Thrifting Bliss.

Finally, I was able to get out of the house a little bit since my hubs surgery and hit some of my favorite thrift stores, it feels like months since I have been able to look around, I found these great treasures all over town, a little here and there, I have to say I didn't see a whole lot......I love what I found though, the lilac picture is my fav.

I have so much to catch up on to get my booth at Junkee's back in shape, it's really taken a beating since Jim's been home, I haven't been able to leave the house much, so my booth has really suffered, all my craft supplies, painting and goodies are in my craft room at 41 Taylor and I didn't want to bring it all home.

I have been concentrating on small projects here and there while taking care of Jim. He has turned the corner I think and is getting on better, he has the strength and determination thats for sure.......

Pantry Love

Well hello there, sorry I've been away so long, I'm trying to get my life back, or at least something that closely resembles my life! since I have barely left my house in over a month, my dear hubs is still recovering at home and needs my help I decided I better get busy and start cleaning out my pantry, slash stash any everything......do any of you have a space like, I wish this was the only one, my laundry room regularly collects things besides dirty clothes!

I hate to admit that it took me almost all day to sort through everything, what do you mean canned food has a shelf life Yikes!!!!! I felt so guilty and wasteful, this was a good lesson though.....I have been cooking out of my pantry for over a week, just to make sure I use whats in there, what a savings in my grocery bill, wow just try only cooking out of your pantry and see how creative you can be, it is truly astounding, what you have, and how little you spend at the grocery store when you only have to buy fresh produce and dairy......

Heres a little peek, it's not perfect but it is a ton better than before, at least I can see what I've got and it's tidy, I live in a very small house so storage and organization is at a premium, after tackling this I have been inspired to go through some kitchen cabinets and drawers, it's like a new beginning a fresh start!
