I had fun this last week hitting garage sales and thrift stores, I found some pretty pictures, vintage lingerie, and some unusual religious figures......those seem to be a popular seller in my booth at Junkee!
I had a wedding and a University mixer this past week as well, it kept me very busy, shopping, cooking, planning and styling.....Yikes!!
This week will be another busy one, I have a bridal shower, a baby shower, and then another wedding the following week-end, not complaining though......41 Taylor is really picking up, I am excited as each month brings a little more business. It's tough sometimes in this slow economy to know what is the right path financially to take, the practical side of me feels like I should be looking for a "REAL JOB" you know one with benefits and paid vacations, believe me I've looked, and looked , and looked some more, over 100 job applications, and no one wants or needs me......soooooo I will keep going with my little Junk booth, markets and parties.....everything I love!
Cheers!
Tracey
That is an impressive haul, Tracey! Your Junkee booth always has the most fun goodies in it :)
I'm a little jealous that your "job" is also your passion--but benefits are nice too. Doing something you love has to be better for your health than stress and benefits, don't you think?

You found some great stuff. They will look great displayed in your booth. You are blessed to have an outlet to make some money
Job hunting is hard, I've looked since our business folded almost 2 years ago and my sewing has helped fill in the gaps, but as you said, not a real job with benefits. So thankful I have a skill I can use.
